Heidi is a wonderful mare that has given us some outstanding foals over the years. She consistently produces babies with good bone, beautiful movement, height and sweet dispositions. It is our belief that Heidi would be the perfect mare for a sport horse or hunter breeding program. Our focus is on halter horses here and for that reason alone, we have decided to sell this sweet mare. As a few spot, Heidi will always produce foals with Appaloosa color and/or characteristics, regardless of the stallion she is bred to. She is confirmed in foal to Clear Vision for March of 2008. Clear Vision is a Leading Sire of Appaloosa Halter Horses. This 2008 foal will be eligible for Breeders Trust as well as many futurities including WNYAA, Five Star, AAA, and ApPHA. Heidi is breeding sound only due to an injury as a young foal. This mare is an easy breeder, wonderful mother and is fantastic about having her foals handled from day one. Her foals have consistently, regardless of the sire, been friendly, willing, quiet babies who mature into FANTASTIC family horses with plenty of show ring talent. She is content either stalled or turned out and can literally be fenced with string. Though she is breeding sound only, her injury does not require any special care of any kind (one of her front fetlocks is fused) other than regular farrier care.
