Gucci is a very well trained, smart, quick learner. He has competed in upper level dressage and jumped to 5'. He is an imported, registered Dutch Warmblood. He was owned and trained for a few years by a Canadian Olympian. Gucci is 16.1hh, bay with white hind socks, and is a sweet boy. He would be perfect for someone looking for a horse to move up on in their discipline or as a schoolmasters horse or someone looking for a well trained horse to just enjoy and learn from. He is UTD on shots, worming, etc. and had his feet done recently. He has minor arthritis in his hind hocks and the beg. stage of a cataract in 1 eye, but according to his RECENT vet check- neither are bothering him or affecting his performance. He is very responsive to legs and voice, does nicely on a loose rein, and is a big forward mover with an awesome canter. He is a quick learner and loves to please. He has excellent ground manners, stands, clips, ties/crossties, and bathes well. He adores cookies, and attention. He likes other horses, is more of a follower than a leader in the pack, and does fine with dogs, cats, llamas, donkeys, etc. He is on the hotter side but has not done anything dangerous- if he gets nervous or senses his rider is really nervous, he will slow down or stop. He has so much potential and I want him to go to a great home where he can put his talent to good use. I am only selling him because I feel our personalities do not mesh, and we just have not bonded. I feel connected to a rescue horse at my barn, and cannot afford 2 horses.
I am asking $3,000 or best offer to a great home, and may be willing to negotiate to the right home, I need to sell him ASAP.
